Dr Ian Mallandain Chartered Clinical & Counselling Psychologist

BSc Hons in Psychology, MSc in Counselling Psychology, Post-MSc Dip in Counselling Psychology, Doctorate in Clinical Psychology

Ian is a Chartered Clinical and Counselling Psychologist registered with BUPA. As well as working for the NHS, Ian has 10 years experience in the charitable sector working with drug and alcohol problems. Ian utilises a broad range of psychological approaches, including Cogntivie Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Personal Construcvt Therapy. His interests are mental health, addiction, as well as work related stress and "burnout prevention."

Sally is an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor and has a specialised interest and experience working with Trauma and Abuse issues, including PTSD and is continually updating her professional and personal development. She offers long and short term therapy for adults on a one to one basis, dealing with a variety of issues. She has worked privately and with Mind along with other Mental Health Charities.

Karen Woodward BSc Hons, Mindfulness CBT Cert, MBACP, UKCP Reg.

Karen is a UKCP Registered Psychotherapeutic Integrative Counsellor who currently works with private clients. She has worked with Mind and also within a drug and alcohol addiction counselling service. Karen works with all issues, supporting clients to gain an understanding and insight into their behaviours, thoughts and feelings, to help the client create healthier patterns of relating. She has particular interest in relational and family issues.

Lindy Wheeler, MBACP (Accred.), UKCP Registered

In 2001, Lindy set up a Youth Counselling Service for two High Schools in Thetford, Norfolk. The Counselling Service, now part of Thetford Academy, has to date provided over 10,000 counselling hours to students who are struggling to engage fully in life and with education, and to the parents and staff who support them. With developing interest in the Mind/Brain/Body connnection, Lindy studied and attained a Practitioner Certificate with The Thrive Institute in 2009. She has trained both teaching and support staff in the Thrive model which is now being used extensively in schools across Norfolk. Lindy offers short and long term counselling for young people and adults, systemic family counselling, parenting advice, small and large group facilitation, workshops, seminars and training.

Helen is a Gestalt Therapist and the founder and Director of Cambridge GATE. She is the former President of Gestalt Assoc. U.K. and the European Assoc. of Gestalt Therapy. Helen is co-author of “The Dream Catchers Handbook” a Gestalt Dreamworking manual. She is also the creator of an innovative Anger Management Training Project used by Mind and which is now widely recognised as a powerful personal development tool.

Lois Peachey MBACP (Accred)

Lois qualified in 2003 and is an accredited humansitic integrative counsellor who is able to work with clients in Ipswich and Woolpit. She was with a local Mind Association volunteer counselling service for six years and has worked with a wide range of clients. She can see adults on a one-to-one basis for short or long term work and can offer daytime and evening appointments.

Lois offers the opportunity to enter into a safe, ethical, confidential and supportive counselling relationship, giving the chance to explore feelings, thoughts and beliefs about yourself, your relationships, your experiences and your place in the world. She works in accordance with the BACP's Ethical Framework for Good Practice and keeps up to date with new ideas and research by undertaking regular professional development.

Jackie Smith MBACP, Dip Person Centred Psychodynamic Counselling NVQ level 3, Cert. in Gestalt Therapy

Jackie's background was in care work for Norfolk County Council working in mental health and with the elderly. She has worked in a High School for many years as a counsellor for students, parents and staff dealing with a wide spectrum of issues. She has experience of facilitating anger management groups and has worked with couples. She also worked with a local Mind Association for several years. Jackie also has her own private practice and works with either short term focused therapy or long term open ended. Her particular way of working would best be described as a holistic, humanastic approach. She has on-going personal development.

Bill Gray, PG Dip, MA. (MBACP).

Bill qualified as a person-centred therapist at the University of East Anglia. He has worked with a local Mind organisation, St. Barnabas in Norwich and the Student Counselling Service at The University of East Anglia.

Bill belives that, as humans, we possess the inner-resource to change and grow; to develop greater self-awareness and acquire the potential for fulfilled and creative living. He considers that the relationship between client and counsellor is key in the process of change.

Jeanette Bramwell NLP Master Practitioner Life Coach

Jeanette's profesional background is varied, and she has a variety of qualifications which has allowed her to motivate groups, individual children young people and families, as well as managing teams and services. As a life coach Jeanette finds it rewarding to be able to work with clients through periods of transition. Having more time with people means she is able to learn more about them and as a result be in a position to assist them in the changes they want to make and enable them to become happier and more positive.

Bob has been working in various areas of mental health and mental well-being for the past 20 years, initially in the workplace with a major international blue chip company, where he trained as a Person-Centred Counsellor, and then in the voluntary sector as a developer, writer and facilitator of innovative ways of working in the community promoting good mental health and well-being. Good mental health in the community is his passion.

Sandra Jarvis (BA CMS) Advanced Diploma in Life Coaching a member of the Coaching Academy. She adheres to a Professional Code of Conduct and Ethics and works with people who want to turn their life around when ‘stuck’ such as being out of work, being made redundant, just wanting a change of career and/or lacking confidence and self esteem to move forward. Sandra uses Naturopathy a useful treatment of stress management, and includes the use of Bach Flower Remedies and nutrition.

Works with individuals, runs groups and offers training on various aspects of OT, motivational work, skill development and well-being.Occupational Therapy is concerned with promoting health and well-being through occupation i.e. everything people do during their everyday lives.
